As a kid and into my teen years I was always intrigued with mechanical things and would take them apart to find out how they worked. This is where my interest in electronics began. At some point in the mid 70's my attention shifted to photography. I have always done well learning hands-on, and I still operate that way. In my senior year in vocational/technical high school I worked at Bose Corporation on a part-time basis. The day after I graduated I became a full-time employee in the audio/visual department. I was very fascinated with sound, and the opportunity to work for this company at such a young age was amazing. I was provided engineering department clearance and got to know all of the in-house engineers. I had the privilege to work on a project under the direction of Dr. Bose. Because of the contacts I made I began working at Polaroid Corporation in the audio/visual department. This was more image based and my ongoing hobby of photography quickly turned into a new line of employment. I was very fortunate to work with Dr. Edward Land on a presentation in Boston. As a teenager, and into my early 20's, I was in heaven working for and with, in my mind two of the most influential individuals in the audio and visual fields. Now here I am, four decades later, and my business is a combination of the same two passions that started it all: Sound and Photography. I honestly can't think of anything else I would rather be doing at this point in my life. I'm very thankful for all the people along the way who have taught, supported, helped and had faith and confidence in me. Life is Good.
